You have made a large investment in your project and have a technically-robust solution, but without taking the business on the journey you will encounter problems when it comes to handing over the project into Business as Usual.​ Many businesses have difficulties during implementation or post implementation because of a lack of focus on Business Readiness.  ​

At SoHo, we place great importance on ensuring there is an adequate Business Readiness plan and have structured our approach around progressively exposing the solution, building confidence and excitement so the business looks forward to implementation.​

Stabilisation

Cutover is over but the job isn’t done….  What happens next ???


Following cutover most projects require a period of stabilisation.  This is usually to cater for a range of changes (both anticipated and unanticipated) and includes the following typical items


  • Go Live Defects
  • Stabilisation Defects
  • Design Changes and Enhancements

Service Transition

 Effective transition is necessary to support lasting change and realise forecasted benefits 

 

The project team are usually moving on to other projects and internal BAU / AMS teams are left needing to support business users without appropriate handover or the necessary training completed.​

At SoHo, we realise the importance of structuring and implementing appropriate Service Transition activities.​

​

Our transition framework has been developed over many projects and centres around:​

  • Involving Service Management team members early within the Stabilisation phase​
  • Providing measurable exit criteria ​
  • Providing updates / demonstrating capability uplift to key Project and Internal stakeholders
